Wattage and Lumens – How to choose the right amount
10-15 feet — this height is ideal for 10,000 to 15,000 lumens.
15-20 feet — this height is ideal for lights of 16,000 to 20,000 lumens.
25-35 feet — 33,000 lumens is ideal for this height.
High bay lighting uses deep reflectors for directing light downwards from high ceilings. High bay luminaires also produce diffused light, which helps to reduce glare. Low bay lighting has shallower reflectors and lenses that diffuse light outwards from lower ceilings.
