1.1 Project Background
Leifeng Campus of Hunan University of Finance and Economics opened in Oct 2021, covering 211 mu. The outdoor venue integrates a standard 400m athletics track and 11-a-side football pitch. The school launched a lighting construction project to upgrade sports infrastructure and satisfy teachers and students’ night fitness demands. CPS Lighting delivered a full set of professional Outdoor Sports Lighting solutions with reliable LED Sports Light to build a comfortable, energy-saving night sports environment.
1.2 Project Demand
The whole venue shall meet Grade III standards for amateur matches and professional training, core requirements:
Comply with JGJ 153-2016 sports lighting national standard;
Football field: average illuminance ≥300lx, uniformity U2≥0.5, GR＜50; athletics track average illuminance ≥30lx;
Adopt Anti-glare LED Stadium Light to control glare and stray light;
Deploy high-power high-mast Stadium Flood Light via two-side layout for full-field uniform coverage;
Adopt high-efficiency Energy-saving LED Sports Light to reduce long-term campus power consumption.
2. Performance Evaluation
On-site photometric testing shows all indicators exceed Grade Ⅲ design standards:

3. Design Standard: JGJ & FIFA Sports Lighting Classification
The project follows two authoritative lighting systems:
3.1 Domestic standard: JGJ 153-2016 Code for Design and Test of Sports Venue Lighting, implemented Grade II for amateur training & non-broadcast matches;
3.2 International reference: FIFA football field and IAAF track lighting grading norms. It provides a standardized campus Sports Lighting Solution for integrated athletics & football outdoor venues.
