1.1 Project Background

1.1.1 Project Overview

Finished in 2023, the Shenyang International Convention and Exhibition Center lighting renovation project is a key upgrade for large-scale international exhibition venues. To resolve the high energy consumption and insufficient brightness of traditional lamps, CPS Lighting completed the overall lighting renovation. By replacing original 1000W metal halide lamps with GP-MY-0300 professional LED lamps, the solution greatly improves venue illuminance and uniformity, fully meeting the high-brightness lighting standards for large commercial exhibition events.

  • Venue Specification: Equipped with 8 independent exhibition halls, 50m span lightweight steel structure, 17m ceiling height

  • Exhibition Area: Indoor and outdoor available exhibition area of 40,000 ㎡ respectively

  • Booth Capacity: Supports 2,000 standard exhibition booths

  • Venue Positioning: Large-scale comprehensive international convention and exhibition venue for commercial exhibitions and industry expos

1.1.3 Project Demand

Large exhibition venues require stable and high uniform lighting to ensure clear display effect of exhibits and meet on-site shooting and visitor viewing needs. The original 1000W metal halide lamps had excessive power consumption and insufficient illuminance. The renovation requires low-power and high-luminance LED lighting to make the ground average illuminance reach 300lux or above, while reducing long-term operation energy consumption and maintenance costs.

2. Pre & Post Renovation Performance Evaluation

2.1 Pre-renovation Lighting Defects

  • High Energy Consumption: Adopted traditional 1000W metal halide lamps, with huge power consumption and high operating costs

  • Insufficient Illuminance: Dim overall light, unable to meet the brightness standard of large-scale exhibition venues

  • Poor Uniformity: Uneven light distribution in large-span exhibition halls, affecting exhibition display effect

3. Design Standard: JGJ & FIFA Sports Lighting Classification

This project focuses on commercial exhibition venue lighting standards, adopting national indoor public building lighting design specifications. The lighting layout refers to high-standard large-span venue lighting design logic, ensuring high illuminance and high uniformity for large-area exhibition spaces, meeting daily exhibition operation, commercial display and on-site event shooting requirements.

     

4. Customized Full-package Solution by CPS Lighting

4.1 Solution Overview

Aiming at the large-span, high-ceiling and large-area characteristics of the exhibition center, CPS Lighting launched a targeted energy-saving renovation solution. Replace all traditional 1000W metal halide lamps with GP-MY-0300 series professional LED exhibition lamps, realizing overall brightness improvement and energy-saving upgrading of the venue.
