Zhejiang Jinlin Sports Center boasts a total construction area of 36,000 ㎡ with 25,000 spectator seats and a FIFA-certified standard football field. Upgrading this high-profile arena with professional football pitch lighting and high-performance outdoor stadium luminaires was essential to ensure compliance with modern athletic broadcast demands.


1.2 Project Requirements

The original lighting system suffered frequent breakdowns, aged wiring and severe ambient corrosion. The owner required a complete upgrade to efficient LED stadium lights to satisfy the strict FIFA-A HDTV broadcast specification, integrate an intelligent dimming system, and achieve a minimum energy saving rate of over 40% under the JGJ 153 standard.

  • Horizontal & Vertical Illuminance (Eh/Ev): Essential parameters for top-tier stadium flood lights. Eh ensures even ground brightness; Ev creates a three-dimensional visual effect for athletes and the ball on broadcast cameras.

  • Illuminance Uniformity U1/U2: Measures consistency with U1=Min/Average and U2=Min/Max. Higher values in the sports lighting fixtures layout eliminate irregular light-and-shade zebra stripes across the pitch.

  • Glare Rating (GR) / Unified Glare Rating (UGR): Lower GR values avoid sudden visual dazzle for players catching high balls; our targeted anti-glare LED sport lights easily satisfy the professional HDTV requirement of GR≤50.

  • CRI / High Color Rendering Index (Ra) & TLCI: Reflects color authenticity; high-end arena lighting needs Ra≥90 and high Television Lighting Consistency Index to restore the real tones of athletes’ skin and turf.

  • Flicker-free Lighting: Critical for slow-motion replay; utilizing a high-frequency driver restricts flicker within 0.5% for 4K/8K cameras.
