1.1 Project Background
With the popularization of national fitness, campus sports venues have higher requirements for professional, comfortable and energy-saving lighting environments. Located in China Merchants Shekou College, the venue is a standard 7-a-side football field, mainly used for students’ daily fitness, professional training and campus amateur football matches. To upgrade the venue’s sports supporting facilities and meet standardized sports lighting demands, the college launched a professional football lighting construction project. CPS Lighting provided a full-set energy-saving professional sports lighting solution tailored to the campus venue environment.
1.2 Project Demand
Combined with campus venue attributes and daily usage scenarios, the project put forward core demands for professional lighting and green energy saving:
Meet Class II amateur match grade football lighting standards for daily training and campus amateur competitions
Achieve high illuminance uniformity to avoid uneven field light and dark areas
Optimize optical design to effectively suppress glare and create a comfortable sports visual environment

2. Performance Evaluation
After professional layout design and lamp installation by CPS Lighting, all lighting indicators of the 7-a-side football field exceed the national Class II standard, realizing uniform, comfortable and energy-efficient lighting output. The core performance data is shown in the table below:
3. Design Standard: JGJ & FIFA Sports Lighting Classification
This campus 7-a-side football field lighting project strictly complies with national JGJ 153 sports lighting design standard and FIFA international grading system, positioned as Class II Amateur Match Grade. The optimized lighting system fully adapts to campus daily fitness, regular professional training and amateur-level football competitions. With ultra-high uniformity and scientific light control design, it eliminates lighting blind spots and glare interference, creating a standardized and healthy light environment suitable for campus sports scenarios.
4. Customized Full-package Solution by CPS Lighting
CPS Lighting customized a targeted full-package lighting solution for the campus football field, realizing balanced optimization of lighting effect, visual comfort and energy-saving efficiency:
Scientific Bilateral Layout: Adopts 12-meter high lamp poles with bilateral symmetrical arrangement, 3 poles on each side of the court, 3 lamps per pole, realizing reasonable cross light coverage and avoiding local light accumulation or dark areas.
Professional Lamp Configuration: Equipped with a total of 18 sets of 500W TSC-7B series professional stadium lights, featuring high luminous efficiency and stable performance, meeting long-term high-frequency use of campus venues.
Precise Optical Calibration: Fine-tunes lamp projection angle and light distribution to maximize illuminance uniformity, effectively suppress glare and uneven light distribution, and protect students’ visual health.
Green Energy-Saving Design: On the premise of meeting standard illuminance indicators, optimize the number of lamps and layout scheme, minimize energy consumption, and realize low-carbon and energy-saving operation of campus sports venues.
